Day 3!

So, yesterday was quite amazing. We went on a ferry around elis island, saw the statue of liberty, We went to ground zero and the church across from it, which was insanely emotional, we walked around the financial district (I went everywhere) we then got dropped off at times square and had about three and a half hours to wander (i went to find an american apparel)
i had north and south all mixed up somehow, i would walk south thinking its ACTUALLY north (the streets still made sence, but my sence of direction was totally off for some reason) and in that time, i went all the way up broadway to 23'rd street (i started off around 56th street) adnd then went four avenues east (yeah, east) and foudn my AA. i then walked back casually through madison square gardens, then some more small beautiful parks in the middle of the city, and it was absoloutely breathtaking, and the pictures i took are all crazy and full of people.
people in new york don't mind being photographed, and i'm so glad for that fact.
walking around the beautiful parks on my own, and taking my time really got me emotional- and listening to my ipod really made me open my eyes to the mood and everything, and like the cliche person i am, i listened to hey there delilah in times square and cried, because as soon as that song came out, i promised i would do that someday.
i remember just sitting around times square yesterday, and it finally hit me where i was, and it was profound. thats all i can really say about it.
after all that walking (and new yorkers are still, in my opinion, very very sweet), we went to watch mama mia at the winter garden, and that was a little corny at first, but they got me singing at the end of it, duh. i really liked the old people. milfs and dilfs hardcore.

i got everybody there gift! it's done! woo!

today im going to greenwich village, and soho, an area im DYING to checkout, i have a feeling i'll adore it.

i miss you and love you!
