In society, there are many forms of temptation that can negatively affect ones original plan for life. For this reason, it is very important to have strong family values. Families function as a unit that helps guide eachother through life by implementing expectations onto eachother. When a family member gets tempted into doing something, usually families intervene and make sure that the person is fully aware of how their choice may affect the rest of their life. When somebody eventually leaves their family unit, they often go to their family for advice and guidance for life changing decisions. Strong family values also primarily affect how a person acts on a daily basis. If somebody was taught by their parents to be polite and well mannered, it is more then likely that the child will act that same way when on their own and when they grow up.
